A desk inspired by the contrasting landscapes of Ticino in southern Switzerland, with its rivers, mountains, impressive chestnut forests, and sturdy stone. Both materials, chestnut wood and Maggia granite, come from the same region and thrive under the same sky.

 

Designed for a very specific spot, right under a particular window in a remote location in Val Lavizzara. The stone gives the structure with the necessary stability to stand firmly against the wall. It is now ready to make its journey down to the valley.
